Sanja Dammeier

Born and raised in Croatia, Sanja had experienced atrocities of war at a young age. When war started in Ukraine, she felt compelled to help. Initially, she had joined Canada- Host Ukrainians group to host a young adult, but became more involved in all other aspects of volunteering. Her primary focus is helping minors. She works with local grassroots groups, and it's an active volunteer in her community.
